Understanding Who You Are

The Truth Love + Marketing® modules are designed to explore and define the depth of who you are through four primary lenses: Purpose, Approach, Culture, and Presence. The strategies that emerge from these four areas drive everything you do, from how you operate to how you communicate, and how you choose to grow.

Purpose

By far the most important element of your identity, your Purpose is the core of who you are, what you’re driven to create in the world, and why. It’s the foundation for how you establish connection and trust through your organization.

Approach

Your Approach is the thing that sets your work apart—it’s the way your unique talents and perspectives make what you do distinct among seemingly comparable offerings. Basically it’s how your Purpose shows up in your product.

Culture

Your Culture is how you cultivate alignment in the relationships and growth opportunities that shape what your organization becomes over time. Basically it’s how your Purpose shows up in the way you grow—inside and out.

Presence

Your presence is the essence of how you show up in the world. It’s your main modality for inviting aligned connections with the people your work touches. Basically it’s how your Purpose shows up on the way you communicate.

The Process

Our overarching process is designed to help you you define, embody, and leverage these four areas in your work. This is where your unique magic gets totally embedded in what you're offering in the world.

We call the process Truth Love + Marketing. That's where the name comes from!

Truth

We'll dig deep into everything you’ve already created to define the patterns, beliefs, unique capacities, and depth behind what you’re doing.

Love

We'll help you embody and own your unique value, building your capacity to recognize alignment in the relationships and decisions that shape how your offerings evolve over time.

Marketing

We'll help you build strategies to authentically connect with your audience, and tools that bring clarity and focus to everything that gives your work traction in the world.

About Us

Hi there.

We're Jonathan & Melody. We are a brother and sister team from Colorado who have combined our unique capacities and backgrounds in our shared mission to empower people to change the world in ways that only they can.

Jonathan Mischke

Jonathan has spent the last 20 years helping companies find innovative ways to connect with their customers and communicate about what they do. With a background in design and marketing, he's developed campaigns for brands including Nike, Apple, Google, Facebook and Kelloggs. Jonathan founded his consultancy, Door 4, to champion authenticity and human connection as driving forces in our business culture. In addition to his consulting work, he facilitates workshops, has been a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, and is an active mentor within the start-up community––both locally and nationally. Based in Boulder, Jonathan is an avid cyclist, an enthusiastic foodie, and a deeply dedicated husband and father.

As a facilitator of this course, Jonathan will bring a unique capacity to help you recognize purpose alignment in your work, and then help you translate that clarity into systems and strategies you can actually use.

Melody Mischke

For nearly 30 years, Melody has been seeking to define her purpose and give it life in the world. She is a certified Transformational Coach, Heart-Based Meditation Instructor, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, Writer, and Intuitive. She began studying meditation in India at the age of 18, has degrees in both Environmental Science and Contemporary Spirituality, and is a primary contributor to Banyan Botanicals’ written educational content. She founded her private practice, Live In Resonance, to guide others into a more intimate relationship with their innermost essence and purpose. She is a passionate skier, wilderness adventurer, and singer with a profound devotion to her family, to wild places, and to elevating consciousness on the planet. She lives in Evergreen, Colorado with her husband and son.

As a facilitator of this course, Melody's highly-skilled capacity to hold sacred space, her grounded wisdom, and her razor-sharp aptitude for seeing your deepest gifts will help guide your transformational process.
